File Management

Once you’ve set up your toolbox, you’ll also need to turn your mind to some core processes for file management. Managing files well is important. Unless you and others can locate knowledge easily, it quickly gets lost or ignored–making it nearly impossible to build the connections needed for real insight and effective research.

This section sets out some basic practices to follow when organizing, storing and naming files and folders on NextCloud. As with other aspects of good research and writing, consistency here is key.
